My little singer

Last night for my birthday Shyanne gave me a concert. She sang songs from Disney's Camp Rock. I had the joy of sitting through songs. I know you all wish you could have been there too.

Just playing around

today was the last day of junior dance camp with my mommy's Lightning Dancers. But most important is today is mommy's birthday! Th Lightning Dancers gave mommy cake/ice cream, a singing card, scented candle and a silver necklace with 220 forever on it. Mommy says that I can't tell you what 220 means. It is a secret..... I love my mommy very much. She bought me a new bathing suit that has Hannah Montana on it and it is purple. Mommy says the bottoms are alittle big so I have to be careful. Bye for now!

Ahhhhh ha moment

Ok 20 years ago I graduated from high school and I really haven't kept up with too many people. But thanks to 2 great websites I'm able to communicate with former classmates. It is still hard to accept that it has been 20 years but I'm so proud to have graduated from Mayde Creek HS in 1988 as the First Graduating Class. Look what I've found.....

Well it is a Monday......
I waited for the cable guy from their 12 -4 time frame and was actually lucky they showed up at 1:10 pm. But the problem wasn't with direct tv, it was with the tv setting. who knew....But he adjusted the satellite dish while he was here.
I also spent a lot time with Whirlpool on the phone trying to figure out the problem with the ice maker..... well it is broken and needs to be replaced along with the PC/optical board. I never knew how important the ice maker was in my life.

However the great part of ending this day is The Bachlorette. It is on in 15 minutes. I have really enjoyed it this season, not sure why...... I was so mad when Brad dumped her. what a jerk!

Shyanne is really missing James, she keeps asking when they are coming home. Poor thing, her buddy isn't home to play with.

Well off to do my 20 minute yoga workout before my show. :)

3 more days til my birthday..

what is great and relaxing day

we all slept in and took our time getting up.

Shyanne has been working on her math workbook. She is determined to be good at math before school starts back up. She already reads all the time and plays on the computer and she's only going to be in 2nd grade. I'm glad someone loves to read because I really don't care for it. I'd prefer looking through a magazine.

We spent some time out by the pool getting some sun. It was a beautiful day, clear and about 90 degrees. The pool water was just right. I'd dip in long enough to cool off.

Hopefully tomorrow will be just like today.
Well the time has come that we have been waiting for..... Camp Rock. Shyanne and I have been waiting weeks for this premier on Disney. I have to admit I love the Jonas Brothers even though they are pretty bad at acting but great singers. I downloaded the soundtrack on itunes and it is already on my ipod. Last November when we went to the Hannah Montana/Jonas Brothers concert I was just like a pre-teen and loved every minute of it.

Shyanne and I are still singing "We Rock, We Rock....."

Now we are waiting for Kit Kitteredge An American Girl to come out at the movies on July 2nd.

6 more days til my birthday...... just in case anyone cares.

So after waiting 6 weeks after my surgery so I can finally exercise..... I hurt so bad. My legs and arms feel like jello. I guess I over did it. Shyanne and I are going for a bike ride later today and maybe that will help. Ok I get it, I'm 38 and not 30. I should be nicer to my body.

Dentist report

I went to the dentist today to get my teeth brushed. Dr. Davis said everything looked good but I still needed mommy to help floss. I hate flossing. I got to get a prize from the prize drawer for being good. I don't have to go back until December 30th.

I'm going to spend the rest of the day playing with my friend James because he leaves for Canada tomorrow and will be gone and I won't have anyone to play with me.

Bye for now.

My little dancer!

Shyanne had her dance recital on June 11. This is her 4th dance recital is her 6 short years. She did a great job with her 2 class dances and is really becoming a fantastic little dancer. Mommy was soooo proud of her. Can you tell from the pictures? At the end of recital we were asked to stay for the awards ceremony and to our wonderful surprise Miss Shyanne was awarded "Dancer of the Year" from Miss Jamie. She received a certificate and her first trophy. We were on cloud 9

We took Shyanne to the cemetary in Denton where I my grandparents are. She is finally getting to the age where she understands a little bit. She has one more great grandmother left: Nannie.

June 9, 2008

What a day. I had several errands to run, the dentist, Wal-Mart, the dealership and to end the day at a birthday party for Shyanne. I thought I was on summer vacation. The dentist went great except she recommended an electric toothbrush. I spent over 2 hours at Classic Cheverolet getting my oil changed and tires rotated. I thought they would never call my name. Shyanne worked on 2nd grade worksheets the entire time while I tried to watch tv and relax. Then I went to Wal-Mart to get 2 gifts for birthday parties for Shyanne. Today's party was at Incredible Pizza and honestly I was pretty tired at this point. The kids ate pizza and spent the rest of the time playing games. Shyanne didn't want to leave of course but I made her! 8:30 pm was late enough for me. Saturday Shyanne has a party at Hurrican Harbour and Jeff has to go since I'll be at camp with my officers. Ok I'm rambling because it is 11:45 pm. I'll post a picture from the party tomorrow.

Sunday June 8th

Yesterday was graduation for the class of '08. I still can't believe that I graduated 20 years ago.

Today was beautiful. We went to the airport hanger and ate lunch with the family across the street. Then we spent the rest of the day outside. It was sunny and clear, the perfect way to spend a Sunday.

I've started this blog for Shyanne so that you can follow her this summer. She will be practicing her writing and typing skills and I will provide the pictures. She has already completed

1/2 of the 2nd grade summer workbook. All she wants to do is worksheets and read so that is why I thought I would create this for her.

until next time :)
